Automatic Ice Rake
Summary
Design and install electrical controls for Automatic Ice rake.
The customer has two ice machines located on top of a containerized ice storage bin. The requirement is to control the mechanical aspects of the rake to keep the ice level to maximize the volume of ice stored. We also need to control the discharge of ice through augers into bins for fish.
We need to ensure all safety aspects are taken care of ti ensure operability of machinery and safety of personal operating the ice system.
In this instance we chose the Schneider M340 PLC with Magelis operator interface to provide the required control and provide ease of use to the operator.
